Soccer History is happening in Lubbock, Texas when the Lubbock Matadors made it to the third round match in the 109th Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. Lubbock Matadors Soccer Club qualified for the prestigious US Open Cup after a successful 2023 NPSL Season when the Matadors made the 2023 NPSL playoffs after becoming the Lone Star conference regular season champs! The Matadors are ready for a BIG 2024 Season after winning the first ever El Dustico over West Texas FC (Midland-Odessa) with an average of over 4,000 fans per game to provide a Lubbock-style home field advantage. Led by independent supporters group Mozos, our passionate fans built a fortress that visiting teams struggled to play in. The Matadors Front Office team introduced a popular new mascot, the 7 foot tall bull, Notorious who has been very active in our community.  The club proudly returns a strong family of sponsors while adding some great new partners that are the Best of Business in Lubbock, while remaining very active on social media platforms' Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
